Support / Re: How to run downloaded ISO file using Yabause?

You tend to have more luck with BIN/CUE files. ISO files don't have the audio tracks, which most Saturn games would have I expect.

Bug reports / Re: Panzer Dragoon Zwei/Saga emulation status

Has anyone else noticed in Saga, in Uru ruins, if you go to the map screen and scroll to the extreme right or the extreme bottom, the map becomes empty.

Another thing I noticed was that in the village, if you rotate the floor doesn't move at the same speed as everything else. It's quite a weird effect and hard to describe. This happens in OpenGL mode, not sure about software mode.

I can provide screenshots and save states if need be.

What version of Linux and is that the GTK or QT version?

Is that the latest version of SSF, I couldn't get it to work in WINE, got some debug error message. My PCs probably too slow to handle it anyway.

Are you using the QT version of Yabause? I couldn't get sound with the GTK version, but I could with the QT one.

Bug reports / Re: Spot Goes To Hollywood - Sprites disappear

Hi, sorry, should've provided one. I've opened up the hole in the floor so you just need to fall in it. I took the snapshot with the US version of the game.!pNNQ0YJR!aWXvqFjaDNH7dlyr4GHfYBKcnvYKjQSs-8ZpkaJX40o

Also worth noting that the same thing happens with both software rendering and OpenGL, so perhaps it's not an issue with graphic rendering?

I noticed that weird shadow bug as well. I think I only noticed it in software mode? OpenGL didn't seem to have the issue. I think the blue garbage is probably the water underneath the boat.

In the 2nd level, there's a net with loads of junk in it hanging from the boat. If you fire it, it falls and makes a hole in the ground. If you go into the hole you get to a bonus level. In the bonus level you can't see any sprites, only the background.

I'm not sure if any other parts of the game are affected, but chances are even if I don't go into this hole I'll reach some other part of the game where this is a problem. So I've not bothered playing after this point.

This was an issue in the previous version of Yabause too. Any ideas what might be causing the issue? I was hoping perhaps the recent transparency fixes might solve this, but alas.

I'm a n00b. Can I also have access? I work as a software tester so I should be good at finding bugs :).

General / Is it OK to ask for demo disc ISOs?

Ah, looked at a scan of the CD:

Unauthorised copying, rental and/or transmission is strictly prohibited

Guess that answers my question.

Just wondering before I post.  I'm looking for a demo disc I used to have on my Sega Saturn.

Do you mean the file doesn't show in the directory?  That's odd, try typing *.* in the Open dialogue box, or maybe your BIN file has got another extension that Windows (I'm assuming Windows) has hidden e.g. cdimage.bin.txt.

Yeah, dual core support would be nice.  I was wondering if the 2 processors inside the Sega Saturn would translate well to a dual-core processor, or am I completely wrong about that?

Edit the CUE file so that it points to your BIN file, chances are it points to an exact location or the wrong filename.
