General / New Translation System, need translators
« on: July 05, 2016, 05:35:19 PM »
Hi guys, we've switched our setup to use Transifex, which should be easier to collaborate and ultimately cut down on our work.

Anyways if you'd like to help out with translating please go to and click on
Help Translate "Yabause" and sign up for an account(it's free).

General / User/Developer Documentation
« on: October 30, 2013, 03:01:27 PM »
Hey guys!

One complaint I've heard a lot over the last year has been a lack of Yabause user and developer documentation. So one of things we're hoping to tackle before our next release has been trying to get it up to snuff. Anyways, we've started compiling content at Any suggestions, feedback, or contributions are welcome.

Suggestions / Donators' requests take priority
« on: June 02, 2013, 05:33:07 AM »
If you have a feature request or something you'd like us to work on, please note that while we do try to fill requests regardless, we tend to work on stuff we personally like to work on. However when we receive donations we do try to give donors' requests priority. That being said, keep in mind that some requests take significant time and/or expense and we do have families to support and stuff. So please provide value for value.

Also, if you do donate with a request in mind, please at a comment in your donation to that effect. Thanks.

Support / uoYabause, unofficial ports(wii, etc.) ports not supported
« on: July 06, 2008, 04:40:00 PM »
Just a reminder to those having problems with uoYabause or any version of Yabause not released on our download page or otherwise compiled directly from our github source code. It's not being supported. So you're on your own.

General / Delayed release
« on: October 29, 2007, 06:23:29 AM »
Just an update on the next release. Normally we try for a release around once a month, which means the next release should've been this weekend. Although due to Guill moving and all(last I heard he's still without internet except for at work), we're going to delay the release till next weekend(or there abouts), that way we can have all the essential binary builds ready.

Please try the following program:

It's basically a sample program from the DirectX SDK. Try moving around the d-pad and/or analog stick on your joystick and record the values for me. Then please post your results here. Hopefully once I've gotten enough data I can figure out why some people are still having problems. Thanks.
