General / Dragon Force Can't Recruit

Greetings.

 So i had this working fine on my old machine with an older version of Yabause. That machine died so i downloaded and set it up on this machine.  I have the original CD which i made my own image of, so i'm using an undamaged, original owned copy, AKA i have the legal right to run it. I also found a copy of the Rom online. I get the same result with both images.

The game plays and runs fine, everything seems to be working. However, when we get to the map screen, i use the 'Ok' button and it works as normal, but when i go into the actual on map castle menu to recruit soldiers or deploy generals, it does not pop up the "Recruit/Release" Window. Meaning I can't resupply troops, I can't deploy generals to attack and I can't move out of my own castles at all. All i can do is stand still and watch the other monarchs play.

Support / Cheats do not work in Yabause

Now that I've lost interest in the game I was playing after spending almost two hours looking for any kind of comprehensive guide on how to use cheats on this platform, I might as well make a post about it so that other users don't end up in my predicament.

There is zero COMPREHENSIVE information on how to use cheats in Yabause; no videos, no guides, no posts, no nothing, only ambiguities. Observe:

Google search, useless:

Is this kept intentionally vague? Is there no way to do it without taking a programming class? I don't want to create cheats out of weird symbols and ones and zeroes, I'm not Bill Gates. I want to input an Action Replay code, hit enter and have it work.

I hit the action replay button, I enter action replay code (with and without spaces), I hit close, nothing happens. If someone out there can explain how to use cheats in simple terms and without assuming that I already know that you just have to open the developer code and find line 888765481, input a binary representation of your entire DNA sequence, clap three times and burn an offering of orange peels to Ganesha, that would be great.

Good evening all,

I need some help with Dragon Force 2 translation.  There is an issue where when where are too many troops on the field of a battle, it just doesn't render or whatever.  I've tried both on the Windows (1 year old system) and Android (new Galaxy Note 8) versions of Yabause.  I've tried multiple setting combinations, but still have no luck at all.  Otherwise, the game works mostly great.

Does anyone know how to resolve this issue on either platform?

Support / Yabause Mac crash loading CD-ROM

When I run Yabause on my Mac Pro (1,1) (OS X 10.11.6) and select "Run CD-ROM" it loads the BIOS startup screen and then crashes.  If I choose "Run BIOS" it loads that BIOS screen and runs it fine.  The first part of the crash log is below.  I hope somebody can help here based on this.

I am unable to use OpenGL for now.
But i have question and suggestion in one 'face' =)

Did there is any plugins for Yabause that can force bilinear filtering on textures, like (lets say) pete opengl plugin for playstation emulator.

Did OpenGL renderer in current version or for future have plans for texture bilinear filtering?

If there is no solution for now, so i really hope whenever it will be realized in future. Its will be pretty cool, i am very love blinear filtering.
This makes graphic more enjoyable, like pete for ps do.
