I checked the file size for my game and it is the same exact file size you mentioned, so I think it is a good rom.

I tried it on ssf and for some reason it dosn't regester that I have a game in the disk drive, I read several guides and I do believe that I did everthing corectly but it still gives me the "drive empty" message.

I tried it on mednafen and I ran into a bunch of problems with that emulator. First, I read that it's a command line emulator and assumed it was similar to mess/mame, but from what I can tell it isn't similar at all and I wasn't able to get much to work. Second, I was able to get Mega Man X4 to work but for some reason when in full screen mode it doesn't stretch to match the height of my computer screen so it looks really small. And the last issue I came across is that my computer doesn't seem to be strong enough to fully handle the emulator.

I'll try those but when I checked the file I noticed that it's actually a bin/cue file and not an iso, Could that cause an issue or should it be fine that way?

Mednaffen or SSF. Anyway, Yabause is more "strict" with bad iso.

The size of Megaman X4 should be around 567 180 274 octets.

Everything is up to date I when I bought this computer I made sure that everything was up to date. However for the iso I don't know how to check if it's a bad rom, is there any other Saturn emulator that has good compatibly with Mega Man X4 that I could test it on?

Built in bios should be work. But try to get a real one. Your system is up to date (windows, drivers, etc...). It's seems there is a problem with your computer. You have the same problem with Yaba Sanshiro.

Maybe you have a bad iso !!!

No I didn't, does this version of the emulator need bios? I know that the 32-bit version doesn't but the game I'm trying to play, Mega Man X4, doesn't emulate properly on that version.

I tried deleting and reinstalling yabause and I got the same issues again.

I tried yaba sanshiro and it gave me the same issues although when I tried to load a game it gave me the error message "can't initialize yabause".

I tried kronos and I had troble finding it, so I don't know if I have the newest version (it's version 1.0.0), but when I tried it it had the same issues as yabause.

Also something that I found out is that even if I don't change anything, when I open the settings and then press ok it crashes all three of these emulators. Just adding that in case if that helps somehow.

Weird, delete all about Yabause (your directory), and C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Local\yabause.
Download Yabause 0.9.15 from here : https://yabause.org/download/

Try again.

Or you can try Yaba Sanshiro or Kronos (fork from Yabause)
