hey, first of all,, nice idea bringin' the saturn to osx and other systems, thx;)

but... i hoped for the new version (0.8.5) to work on my g4 ppc - but if i open the program, theres just a white screen at first.. and after some seconds a black screen following.. but nothing after this!!? ..tried with severeal bios (usa,jap,europe) and games..     also tried it by compiling by myself. .same problem..,,

did i just forget sthg cause i'm a noob or does the version not work properly yet?

Can you give some more details on your system, eg. what OS X version are you running?

The sources had a "bug" where the main emulation loop was called too few times, leading to extremely slow emulation (you could have to wait for almost a minute to see anything on a PPC Mini). I thought I had fixed this in the official build, but it's possible I missed it. You can try raising the number of loop iterations in YuiIdle() in src/carbon/main.c.

Hello,

I don't get the white screen on my Mac, nothing happens when I try to launch Yabause (I use the official .app).

Tiger 10.4.9
iBook 1.42 G4 PPC
1 GB RAM

Thank you antime this helped me out. Now Yabause boots with bios 100 and 101. I juste have Sonic R wich unfortunately doesn't boot: I always get the bios (wich is slow on my machine).

But this is ok for me, keep up the good work!

hey, here's my systeminfo:

running a pbook g4, 1.67 GHz, 1.5 GB DDR2 SDRAM
..and tiger 10.4.10    

but i had to uninstall the xcode tools and fink 'cause of space problems;)

it doesn't work with just copying the sdl libraries to frameworks:(

ah, tested it and it works, thanks! (tested just by putting sdl into frameworks of osx.. ) though bios screen's a bit slow ..perhaps cause i didnt install sdl through xcodetools/terminal?  ..i'll test some games later on,thx
