VDP2 questions
« on: February 23, 2016, 10:03:57 PM »
So yes, I was looking at some VDP2 textures for Fighters Megamix
using the VDP2 viewer and well RGB0 shows the texture as it appears in game.( in the same orientation rotated to a flat ground plane) I was wondering if there is a way to force load the texture to view it as a regular texture....

Also more questions, is it possible to dump all textures in memory at once? VDP1 and VDP2?
or maybe perhaps create a snooping tool to check an iso for all textures in a game even if they are not loaded into memory?

Currently there isn't a way to display it as you want.

Dumping all textures in memory isn't currently supported.

A snooping tool would be difficult to implement given there's no fixed standard for storing texture data on a disc. It also goes beyond the scope of Yabause.
