Creating Windows Shortcuts or bat file shortcuts?
« on: January 26, 2017, 01:53:08 AM »
Hi Guys, is it possible to create shortcuts or Bat files to auto boot games directly from an icon?

Ive had some luck doing this with other emulators by creating a shortcut of the exe then adding the games file path in "" afterwards in the target line. With a Dreamcast emulator i found a method of creating a Bat file using the following:

echo on

nullDC_Win32_Release-NoTrace.exe ^
-config nullDC:Emulator.Autostart=1 ^
-config ImageReader:LoadDefaultImage=1 ^
-config ImageReader:DefaultImage="C:\Program Files\Emulators\Dreamcast\games\Capcom vs SNK 2\Capcom vs SNK 2.gdi"

This could then be used in conjunction with a shortcut to boot specific games.

Wondering if there could be a similar means to create links for some of the Saturns fantastic games.

Thank you :)
